If you were a boss,would you give a job to someone who has been unemployed for 3 years?
I'm a junior manager in a chemical factory and I have been employing and firing people for nearly 5 years now. What I have learned from my superiors and experiences over the years is if the job candidate have blank spots and short term employments I would automatically think that the person is not reliable and can quit working for me when we need him/her the most. And probably have stability problems. Unless they have a real excuse and they really convince me it's not going to happen again. But no matter what before making a contract with them I would most probably put them on a trial period first for at least 3-5 months. Hope that helped. Good luck finding a suitable job for yourself.
