What is this movie called?

I'll first start off by saying that the boy in this movie is named Charlie and the title has Charlie in it. It all starts off with a boy at a party and jocks are picking on him and fights them outside cracking an alcohol bottle over the jock's head and barely killing him. There is a witness though (charlie) and he rats on the kid that got into the fight. Later on in the movie Charlie goes to college and his friend's friend is the fighter. The fighter then is allowed to stay in their dorm room because he doesn't have a place to stay and throughout the whole movie charlie is trying to hide himself from him.
