How many girls/women actually want a sweet guy?

Most girls SAY they want one, but they don't date them. How many girls actually want a guy who opens doors, makes you soup when your sick, gives you a goodnight kiss, etc. I'm not talking about the stereotypical "nice guy" just a really sweet guy? I've tried and I can't be a jerk so I really don't have any other choice than to hold out hope that not all girls fall for douchebags - which is unfortunately what I've witnessed.
