VW polo 2001 1.4 - how to change spark plugs?

I have a vw polo 2001 1.4 and have recently purchased 4 new spark plugs. i just had a look under the bonnet and pulled one of the ignition cables off and i cant see where the spark plug goes.. some help please, as nowhere on the internet can help!
